Legione Cerberus, 

Mentre i Ludi Apollinares si avvicinano, procediamo come da programma con quelli che sono i preparativi di allestimento, non del circo massimo, ma del manuale di Primi Re! 

Ci vorrà ancora un po', ma  la meta è oramai tutt'altro che lontana.

Come Epic Party Games stiamo lavorando assieme all'instancabile Mauro Longo (Acheron Games), per dare una forma definitiva, coerente e qualitativa a lore e regolamento del gioco, finalizzando l'elaborazione dei contenuti per poi passare all'impaginazione sui layout che vi abbiamo mostrato nello scorso update.    

Nel frattempo, un altro giovane (di nome e di fatto lol) artista si è aggiunto al team di illustratori che arricchiranno il manuale di gioco: Alessandro Belgiovine (di seguito, e poco sopra, solo alcuni dei suoi lavori per Primi Re)

The Ludi Apollinares are approaching as we proceed to prepare - not the Circus Maximus lol - but the First Kings corebook, as planned.

It will still take a while, but the goal is eventually far from being distant!

At Epic Party Games, we are working together with the tireless Mauro Longo (Acheron Games), to give a definitive, coherent, and qualitative form to the game's lore and rules, finalizing the processing of the contents, to then move on to the layout, as we showed you in the last update.

Meanwhile, another young artist has joined the team of illustrators enriching the game corebook: Alessandro Belgiovine (above, you can see a couple of his artworks for First Kings).

Come alcuni avranno notato siamo stati un po' assenti sulla piattaforma, ma i lavori sul gioco non si sono mai fermati, anzi: come promesso, assieme ad Acheron abbiamo aggiunto personale dedicato alla rielaborazione dei contenuti ed al relativo editing, con Mauro Longo, autore (nonchè archeologo) che non ha certo bisogno di presentazioni, personalmente in prima linea al nostro fianco, ma non solo.. infatti, abbiamo avuto anche la possibilità di portare all'interno del progetto artisti e grafici di uno spessore che all'inizio di questo viaggio assieme a Matteo Sanfilippo non avremmo potuto nemmeno immaginare. 

Oltre agli sketch e alle nuove art (compresa la nuova bellissima cover) che vi abbiamo già mostrato negli scorsi updates, siamo lieti di poter finalmente condividere con voi una preview del nuovo layout concepito dal buon Matteo Ceresa per il nostro Primi Re, in cui è possibile notare anche una mappa del maestro Fabio Porfidia!

As some may have noticed, we've been a bit absent on this platform, but the work on the game never stopped. On the contrary: as promised, together with Acheron we have added staff dedicated to the reworking of the contents and to the related editing, with Mauro Longo, author (as well as archaeologist) who certainly needs no introduction, who's standing personally on the front line by our side.. Also, we had the opportunity to bring artists and graphics of such excellent quality and skill we could've never imagined at the beginning of this journey together with Matteo Sanfilippo.

In addition to the sketches and the new art (including the new outstanding cover) that we have already shown you in the past updates, we are pleased to finally share a preview of the new layout conceived by the good. Matteo Ceresa for our First Kings, where you can also see a map of the master Fabio Porfidia! (see above)

Buonasera Romuli,

non ci sentiamo da un po', e sappiamo che alcuni hanno chiesto aggiornamenti nell'ultimo periodo.. Con un po' di ritardo, quindi, eccoci ad augurarvi innanzi tutto un buon inizio 2021, e dunque a ragguagliarvi sugli ultimi aggiornamenti in ambito Primi Re, in casa Acheron Games. 

In primis, riconfermiamo ancora una volta che, grazie al passaggio in gestione editoriale di Primi Re ad Acheron Games (di Acheron Books), stiamo avendo la possibilità di sviluppare in maniera più approfondita, professionale e curata tutti i vari aspetti editoriali del progetto, a partire da illustrazioni aggiuntive, grafica, impaginazione, ma anche editing,  traduzioni e distribuzione. 

Noi di Epic Party Games e le risorse di Acheron Games dedicate al progetto (tra cui un esperto di storia ed archeologia), stiamo tutti lavorando per poter consegnare a voi backers il gioco migliore possibile con le risorse a disposizione (e soprattutto a quelle aggiuntive), e all'altezza degli standard del nuovo partner editoriale di Primi Re. 

Attualmente, ci troviamo a questo punto della lavorazione del prodotto:

TESTI: i testi sono stati ultimati a fine anno, comprese le aggiunte e le modifiche richieste da Acheron Books, e sono attualmente in fase di revisione.

REGOLAMENTO: il regolamento è stato completamente revisionato da noi internamente, ritarando, correggendo e testando le vecchie e le nuove meccaniche che supportano il sistema di gioco. 

ILLUSTRAZIONI: Sono state realizzate numerose nuove illustrazioni (avete già visto la nuova cover del manuale del precedente update), e ulteriori stanno per essere assegnate e/o ultimate.

STAMPA & SPEDIZIONI: la finalizzazione del manuale di Primi Re è ad oggi stimata per questa primavera, e i processi di stampa e spedizione partiranno non appena anche la traduzione in lingua straniera (a cura di madrelingua inglesi) sarà ultimata. 

 PS: per aggiornamenti più fugaci ma più frequenti, ricordiamo la presenza del gruppo facebook dedicato a Primi Re gestito direttamente in collaborazione con Acheron Games :)

we haven't been posting for a while, and we know that some of you were waiting for an update in the last period.

Therefore, with a little delay, there we are first of all wishing you a good start in this 2021, and thus to inform you about the latest updates regarding First Kings.

First of all, we reconfirm once again that, thanks to the passage of First Kings' publishing management to Acheron Games (by Acheron Books), we have the opportunity to develop in a more in-depth, professional, and accurate way all the various editorial aspects of the project, starting from additional illustrations, graphics, layout, but also editing, translations and distribution.

We Epic Party Games, together with the Acheron Games' resources dedicated to the project (including a history and archeology expert), are all working to be able to deliver to you backers the best possible game with the resources available (and - above all - the additional ones), and up to the standards of the new publishing partner and director of First Kings.

Here's where we're currently at with the product development:

WRITING: The writing was finalized entirely at the end of last year, including additions and changes requested by Acheron Books, and is currently under review and editing.

RULES: the game rules have been reviewed internally, re-calibrating, improving, and testing the old and new mechanics that support the game-system.

ILLUSTRATIONS: Numerous new illustrations have been produced (you have already seen the new cover in the previous update), and many more are about to be assigned or completed.

TRANSLATION: Thanks to Acheron, the translation, editing, and proofreading process will be fulfilled under English native language resources' direction and executive support. Translation will start right after the original-language contents' editing and proofreading.

PRINT & SHIPMENTS: First Kings corebook's finalization is currently estimated for spring, and the printing and shipping processes will start as soon as also the translation is completed.

PS: for more fleeting but more frequent updates, we remember the presence of the Facebook group dedicated to First kings managed directly in collaboration with Acheron Games :)

Epic Party Games & Acheron Books uniscono le forze per completare e pubblicare il gioco di ruolo che ti proietterà nella Roma primordiale, quando l'Urbe, ben lontana dai fasti imperiali, era una landa primitiva e nebbiosa popolata da guerrieri selvaggi e creature demoniache!

Mentre il romulo Matteo Sanfilippo e la crew di Epic Party Games stanno concludendo la scrittura finale e gli ultimi test, Acheron ha messo a disposizione la sua struttura commerciale ed editoriale, forte di cinque anni di esperienza nella narrativa fantasy, e battezzata dalla campagna Kickstarter di
"BRANCALONIA the Spaghetti Fantasy RPG" che ha sfiorato la cifra di duecentomila euro.

PRIMI RE sarà quindi distribuito tramite distributori leader di mercato sia in Italia che all'estero, nonché da tutti i canali commerciali Acheron: Amazon, fiere di settore e store online. La partnership comprende anche un upgrade della veste grafica che, nel rispetto dell'estetica finora presentata, aumenterà notevolmente il numero delle illustrazioni presenti nel gioco. Il primo passo lo potete già vedere, ed è la corrusca NUOVA COPERTINA di con la quale Primi Re vedrà la luce.

La priorità sono i combattenti della Legione Cerberus, vale a dire I BACKERS DEL KICKSTARTER: sappiamo che lo stanno aspettando con trepidazione, e a brevissimo annunceremo la data definitiva di uscita, sia sulla piattaforma Kickstarter che sui canali social di EPG e di Acheron. Solo per loro è previsto un omaggio speciale e aggiuntivo, per ringraziarli della pazienza avuta finora. 

Siamo sicuri che grazie a questa partnership Primi Re potrà da un lato accelerare e concludere rapidamente i tempi di consegna ai backers e, dall'altro, aumentare notevolmente la diffusione e l'espansione che merita la fosca creatura di Matteo Sanfilippo!

in questi giorni sono partite le surveys da parte di Backerkit, ovvero i questionari da compilare con le proprie selezioni (in termini di lingua in cui si desiderano ricevere i prodotti), l'aggiunta di eventuali add-ons ed i propri dati utili per quel che riguarda le spedizioni. Le surveys rimarranno sicuramente aperte fino a Settembre (incluso), quindi non c'è fretta, ma preghiamo tutti di controllare la propria mail - anche nella cartella spam - e di scriverci privatamente in caso di mancata ricezione.
